How it works.
A proper look at what the machine is doing rather than a guess — start-up faults, crashes, blue screens, overheating, or a computer that simply will not come on.
You get told what is wrong and what it costs before anything is done. If it is not worth repairing, I will say so rather than take your money.
Most repairs are done the same day or next day.

When you don’t need this
If you already know exactly what is wrong and just need a part fitted, ask for that instead — you do not need to pay for a diagnosis of something you have already diagnosed.
What people ask.
What if it turns out not to be worth repairing?
I will tell you, and I will tell you why. A ten-year-old laptop needing a motherboard is not worth it and I would rather say so than take the money. You still pay the diagnostic; you do not pay for a repair I have talked you out of.
How long does a repair take?
Most are same day or next day. Anything waiting on a part depends on the part, and I will tell you the wait before ordering rather than after.

For machines that take five minutes to think about opening a browser.
